Gaian Population Control Agency (GPCA)
This agency was formed by the Democracy in the Gaian year 2030. Their original purpose was to essentially murder two-thirds of all Gaians due to the extreme overpopulation problem. Instead, the appointed director, Relas Stokestone worked with local governments across Gaia to bring the Emigration to fruition. Relas was able to save over 6 of the 8 billion Gaians slated for execution.

"quick-awake"
The slang term for one of the 30 sleepers on each transport who are, throughout the voyage, continuously brought to near-consciousness. This is done so that they may be more quickly awakened without suffering the extreme side effects of a sleeper who has just been in standard cold sleep.
Relas Stokestone
One of the Navigators during the Emigration. Relas Stokestone was also the original director of the GPCA and headed the Emigration. After landing on Segaia, however, neither Relas nor any of his sleeper shipmates were ever heard from again.
Segaia
(The Land of Four Seasons)
The planet on which the town of Stokestone resides. Its nickname comes from the four distinct hemispheres, or Seasons.

Specialist
All Segaians awake with budding new powers which they can develop into powerful tools as they hone their ability. There are three main types of Specialists: Alchemists, Medicists, and Spiritualists.
Spiritualist
One of the three types of Specialists. Spiritualists are able to harness their energy and use it in different ways best described by the phrase "casting magic."
Spring
One of the four Seasons of Segaia. Spring is basically one large ocean with many interspersed islands and archipelagos throughout.
Sprite
These native Segaian creatures seem to be very fond of colonists. Usually within a few days of awakening, a Segaian will run into one of these entities in their youngest state. As time progresses, the bond between Segaian and Sprite strengthen and the Sprite will evolve.
Summer
One of the four Seasons of Segaia. Summer is a land of volcanos and lava floes, but there exist large patches of habitable land throughout Summer which contain very rich soil.
